Who I am? And what I can do for you?
Hi! I’m Simone and I’m working on technology by long (related to my age). I started get passionate about technology when I was a child, while time was passing and I was becoming more and more curious about information technology.
I learned much at school (I did an high school specialized on information technology) but I think the best way to learn something is to be curious about it.
In 2006 I funded a company called Wonsys focused on developing Ruby on Rails applications but sometimes I did consulting too.
Now, when somebody asks me “What’s your job?” I have a very long answer, “I’m an IT consultant, developer, photographer and entrepreneur”, let’s examine them a bit deeper:
IT consultant
In the years I got a strong experience in different technology fields and thanks to it I can advise your company to get the best results from your investment. I work happily in team and I’m sure that two heads are better than one!
Developer
From the school to now I used many different languages. In the last years I fell in love with Ruby, it’s a great scripting language and I’m sure you can use it for quite everything you need. Being a Ruby developer I can’t ignore Ruby on Rails, it’s one of the most important web framework around and I’m using it from 2006. It’s really powerful and you can realize everything you want with it.
Photographer
I love to take photos from many years, it started as an hobby and it’s becoming also a work. I began to shoot during my trips (I love traveling) and shot after shot I discovered that it was a great way to express oneself.
Entrepreneur
I always know that “when I’m older” I wanted to be an entrepreneur and in 2006 I became funding Wonsys Srl. I’m always open to new ideas on every field, I think that has a good idea is a good starting point, but you have to “do your homework” if you want to bring your idea from the paper to real life.
